PROMAKAAN (promakaan.com) is run by CODEX Solutions, Faridabad (“we”, “us”). This page explains what information we collect when you use our website or message us on WhatsApp, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We follow India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
What we collect
- When you ask for a quote or place an order: your name, mobile number, delivery address, city or locality and PIN code, and — only if you choose to give them — your email address, business name and GSTIN. We also keep the products and quantities in your request.
- When you message us on WhatsApp: your WhatsApp name and number and the messages, photos or files you send us.
- When you browse the website: your IP address, the pages you open, the page or site that sent you to us, and your browser type. We use this only to count visitors and keep the site working well. We also note searches that found nothing, so we can add the products people look for.
Your cart is saved on your own phone or computer, not on our servers, until you send it to us. We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics, and we do not collect payment card details on this website.
Why we use it
- To answer your enquiries and send you quotations.
- To process, deliver and support your orders, including calls or WhatsApp messages about delivery.
- To issue GST invoices and keep the records the law requires.
- To understand which pages and products are useful, and to keep the website secure.
On WhatsApp we send only replies to your messages, quotations and updates about your orders. We do not send promotional messages.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only with services that help us run the store, and only for the purposes above:
- Meta’s WhatsApp Business Platform, and the customer-messaging (CRM) software we use to read and answer WhatsApp messages;
- our website hosting and database providers;
- whoever delivers your order — our own team or a delivery partner — who receives your name, phone number and address for that delivery;
- government or legal authorities, where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and order details for as long as we need them to serve you, and for as long as tax and accounting laws require us to keep invoices and order records. You can ask us to delete details we no longer need to keep.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent to us using it. Write to us at the address below and we will reply within 30 days. You can also stop WhatsApp messages from us at any time by telling us in the chat or by blocking the number.
Security
Our website uses secure (HTTPS) connections, and order records are kept in a password-protected system that only our team can open. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care to protect your information.
Children
Our store is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
